The Milan, Italy natives in Destrage have released a brand new video for a track from their upcoming album, "Are You Kidding Me? No." Check it out below. Metal Blade Records also comments:
"The video, which can loosely be described as a lyric video, features a pair of zombies making their way through the Warrior Dash in Italy as lyrics splatter onto the screen. Lyrically, the song examines why we as humans enjoy killing zombies so much, and visually, the video is an entertaining dose of absurdity, as fans of Destrage have come to expect! 'My Green Neighbour' was directed and edited by guitarist Matteo Di Gioia at The Jack Stupid.
"Watch the video for 'My Green Neighbour' and order your copy of 'Are You Kidding Me? No.' at this location. 'Are You Kidding Me? No.' will be released worldwide via Metal Blade Records on March 4th in North America and February 28th/March 3rd in Europe/UK.

"Melodic yet fragmented and led by the anguished growls of Denis Ungurean, the record is a primitive, thoroughly cheerless voyage through the various sounds and shades of suffering and despair, their grim, disconcerting hymns of negativity proving both elegant and suffocating."

Each track on the album has a separate dream team on it, so it feels like a constant barrage of fresh interpretations of my music."
Due in May, "Inferno," is Friedman's first solo album of original material in four years, and his first recording in more than a decade that will be released worldwide simultaneously. Featuring what he describes as the heaviest, most intense playing of his career, the album will feature guest appearances by Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom), flamenco/metal acoustic duo Rodrigo y Gabriela and Revocation's David Davidson. Moonspell's mercurial mix of goth rock and black metal helped pave the way for the atmospheric mold that shaped many of today's dark-minded artists. This would not have been possible without their venturing into the New World. Moonspell has affixed its name to flyers containing major acts such purveyors of beautiful darkness as Lacuna Coil, Nevermore, Type O Negative and Cradle of Filth.
The group will once again follow the tide to enchant North American audiences. Fellow Euro metal bands, Leaves' Eyes and Atrocity, are in place to keep the crowd hungry for the band's sonic malevolence. The Portuguese pack comes to these shows to further showcase their epic, double-disc recording "Alpha Noir."
I caught up with pack member, Fernando Ribeiro to gauge his thoughts on this upcoming tour. In the following interview conducted via email, Ribeiro discusses the songs they'll be playing. Also, two years have passed since the release of "Alpha Noir," so we figured the band has probably started writing new material. We were correct! Read further for a brief glimpse into the future of Moonspell. More...
The organizers of the Total Metal Open Air Festival have announced that tickets will go on sale February 3rd via Ticketone, Bookingshow, and Metaltix. Production manager Fabrizio Fiorito comemnts:
“This year we are preparing an edition which will be far superior to all prior ones for both the number and quality of the bands and for all the care that we are having for the non-musical entertainments of the festival. A highest ticket cost was lawful and justified, but just because of the major change that we are doing we would like to introduce the 'new' TMF to as much people as possible. Certainly we're sacrificing part of the possible income, but, with foresight, we look to the future and we are confident that a low ticket price will bring us a lot more people and then will make the event even more famous and popular."
The Italian festival takes place on July 19th and 20th, 2014 and so far Annihilator, Moonspell, and Death Angel have been confirmed, with more announcements coming shortly. More...

Joining in will be Chicago's Broken Hope, Paris based metal newbies Sweetest Devilry and Bulgarian act Eufobia (for the shows on February 13 to February 22).
Commented Immolation vocalist/bassist Ross Dolan: "We are all really excited about once again returning to Europe in support of the 'Kingdom Of Conspiracy' album. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the shows and can't wait to play a completely new live set featuring material off of almost all the releases, old and new, especially a good amount of songs off the new album. Joining us on this run will be our longtime friends from Illinois, Broken Hope, who we feel will really add a lot to the tour and it will be a pleasure to have them along with us to give the European fans a good dose of extreme death metal. See you all in a few days!" More...
Belgian vicious punk/metal outfit Daggers is now streaming two tracks from forthcoming album "It's Not Jazz, It's Blues." Give the tracks "Apex" and "Woolgatherer" a listen in the player below, courtesy of Cvlt Nation.
The twelve track LP is due out March 31st through Throatruiner Records, and the label also comments:
"During their five years of existence, Belgium's Daggers have worked hard on creating unique and singular records to forge a very personal sound. Their new full-length 'It's Not Jazz, It's Blues' is an entire different animal than on their crust-infused hardcore previous releases, delivering twelve epic tracks that will drag you down to the bottom of the earth and shred the living out of you with the haste and anger of a thousand rusty swords.
"Captured in an organic live recording setting, 'It's Not Jazz, It's Blues' takes a hypnotic, noisy approach to the band's claustrophobic blend of punk and metal, more ruthless and vicious than ever." More...

As the band's tenth anniversary looms over the horizon, October File is currently recording with producer Jamie Gomez at the acclaimed Orgone Studios.
The album is entitled “The Application of Loneliness, Ignorance, Misery, Love and Despair - An Introspective of the Human Condition" and will be a concept album based on the contents of the aforementioned title. The album will see its release on May 26th via Candlelight Records, and the label also comments:
"Anger and belief. Power and persistence. October File have earned a formidable reputation as one of the UK’s heaviest and most intensely original bands over their eventful career. This four-man post-punk hardcore crew, formed in 2003 by guitarist Matt Lerwill and bassist Steve Beatty, have doggedly redefined what it means to convey ferocity and fury through the art of riffs, rhythms and incendiary, politically-charged lyrics, amassing a substantial fan base from across the rock, punk and metal spectrum and garnering countless effusive and ecstatic reviews from all corners of the rock and metal media.
"Inspired by a wide range of influences, from post-punk heroes like Killing Joke, Amebix, Godflesh and Gang Of Four through to the greats of rock, punk, industrial and underground metal, October File exploded into life with their 2004 debut album ‘A Long Walk On A Short Pier’ and the ‘How To Lose Friends And Alienate People’ EP from the same year, both of which were released by UK imprint Golf Records. Embarking on a relentless slew of live performances which has seldom slowed since, the band – completed by vocalist Ben Hollyer and drummer John Watt - proved their dedication to playing in front of anyone and everyone and duly attracted the attention of the UK rock and metal press. Consolidating their notoriety with the EPs ‘Monuments’ (2005) and ‘Hallowed Be Thy Army’ (2006), which marked the band’s upward shift to the prestigious Candlelight Records label, October File made friends with Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman who then lent his vocal powers to the band’s second full-length album, ‘Holy Armour From The Jaws Of God’, which emerged to widespread acclaim in 2007, adorned by the astonishing and unique artwork of revered artist Victor Safonkin. ArmyOfOneTV has posted an interview with Coke Finlay of the London, UK thrash metal band Virus. On this video, he discusses the origins, breakups, current status of the band and its latest album "A New Strain of an Old Disease." Watch the footage below.
Virus was one of the pioneers of British thrash metal, and formed in 1986 by H Heston and Tez Kaylor, members of the punk/oi! band Criminal Damage. They brought in John D Hess in their forming year and called on the services of Coke Finlay in 1987.
Their first recording ("Pray for War") was completely funded by the band itself. It wasn't until their 2nd album ("Force Recon") in 1987 that people really started to take notice of the true potential of the band. The press dogged them, probably because of their strong punk roots. It didnt help when Coke punched out Xavier Russell of Kerrang in the Kit Kat club in London in 1988, the former who was reviewing their album that year.
Labelled 'the bad boys of thrash metal' because most of their gigs ended up in fights, drunken brawls and roadie punch .ps, they still maintained a modicum of decorum when they met their fans!
Virus hit the stage for the very first time supporting Suicidal Tendencies and punk outfit Chelsea at the Clarendon in London. They gigged and toured with some of the most influential outfits of the late eighties; Megadeth, Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Lazz Rockit, Cro-Mags, Kreator, Celtic Frost, Voi-Vod, Sabbat, Acid Reign, Overkill, Lawnmower Deth, Deathwish, Nalpalm Death, Sacrelige BC and Carcass.
While Greek Epic Metal veterans Battleroar are in the studio working on the final touches to the comeback release "Blood of Legends," the band posted up a studio report video featuring clips of the studio and a short interview of the band's newest members Gerrit Mutz (vocalist) (Sacred Steel) and Stavros Aivaliotis (bass) (ex-Bloodstained) conducted by The Nightwatchers. The clip also contains a little teaser of the album.
