Last month we broke the news that Insain was due to release a new EP this coming March, but unfortunately the band has now announced this release will be its last.

A new teaser trailer for the EP can be seen below, courtesy of Metal Injection, and Kaotoxin Records also comments on the band's breakup:

"That's really heavy-hearted but yet with an absolute pride, that we have to announce that one of the Kaotoxin artists is no more as Insain decided to split up a little while before that brand new, and consequently posthumous, EP we'll release on March 11th (preorders start this Tuesday!).

"Proud for them, for what's been achieved and for such an absolutely brilliant and boundaries-pushing, brutal, fast, dark and heavy as balls new release that's gonna be the legacy of how awesome and will always be the band and its releases.

"Proud of that particular release too, as it's a real 'family' work like we love them at Kaotoxin: remember We All Die (laughing)'s feat. on Eye Of Solitude's 'The Deceit,' Déhà of WAD(L) feat. on Colosus' 'Blestem' SideBlasts Series release, Laurent of Drawers producing the latest Nolentia full-length and so on.

"On 'Enlightening the Unkown,' Insain have team with Sir Daniel Neagoe, the ultra-talented composer and gifted ultra-brutal vocalist for the creation of the EP's intro and guest vocals on the title track.

"Proud of having been able to work with these great dudes: David Schonbackler, Nicolas Becuwe, Jonathan 'Sangli' Juré, Louis Lafitte and Benoit 'Bono' Jean and proud they've been among the very first ones to join the Kaotoxin team.

"And, last but not least, proud of you, yes, YOU, the ones that make all of this real, each and every fucking day, liking, sharing and commenting here, going to our artists gigs and supporting them, buying the releases and wearing our common passion with pride.

"Thank you Insain, thank you Dan and thank you all!"
