Black Stone Cherry Announces New Album "Magic Mountain"

Roadrunner Records recording group Black Stone Cherry has announced the release of upcoming new album, "Magic Mountain," which arrives everywhere on May 6th.

Produced by Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden), "Magic Mountain" will be heralded by the first single, “Me and Mary Jane,” set to impact multi-format rock radio outlets nationwide in mid-February.

Black Stone Cherry commented on the making of the new release: "Not since before our first album have we felt the freedom and confidence that we felt while writing and recording this album. After touring the world behind three previous albums that we are extremely proud of, we feel this album best captures the live energy, honesty and vibe that encompasses our true musicianship."

Black Stone Cherry will hit the road hard in support of “Magic Mountain,” including a string of dates supporting Seether, which kick off April 22nd at The Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge, LA.

In the meantime, the Kentucky-based band will introduce the album to fans in the United Kingdom via a series of intimate live performances dubbed “The Southern Hospitality Tour.” Set for late February/early March, the dates will see Black Stone Cherry creating each evening’s set list from a list of fan requests, guaranteeing every night’s performance will be completely unique.
