Flyleaf Checks In With Year-End Recap

Flyleaf has checked in with the following recap of 2013 and update about upcoming activity:

"Hello everyone. We hope this email finds you well. As Christmas approaches, we have a moment at home to spend with our friends and families and reflect on all this year has given us.

"This year has been quite a journey. A new beginning, a season of hope and perseverance. We’re thankful for those of you who have joined us on this journey. This year has found us in Japan, Russia, Australia and all corners of the US. We have had a chance to reconnect with you, our fans, and hear your stories of how music has touched you through the years. We have also found ourselves in practice spaces in Texas, California and Georgia working on new music together.

"This is where our story continues. With Pledgemusic we have begun a new journey of sharing these new songs with you. The experience has been extremely rewarding so far. Sharing our process with you has allowed us to open up and connect with you and each other as a band, like never before. We love hearing your feedback and how you feel about our new creations. We’re so thankful for those of you who have pledged and joined in the process with us.

"We would like to give you a sneak peek at a new song we played out live in Texas for the first time. This track is called 'City Kids' and it is a taste of whats to come. We have many other songs to share with you as the process continues, but we leave you this song of reflection and reminiscence.

"We hope you feel the joy and warmth of this holiday season as we celebrate the King of Love, who came as a baby to save the world."
