I'm diggin' this. I love bands that feature really talented, shred worthy players, that purposely play a certain style. Kinda like All Shall Perish, or Thy Art Is Murder. This band isn't exactly like them, but they're similar in the point that the players can do awesome lead work and solos and other assortments of playing, and can at the same time come up with a slow, chuggy, doomy type of song. I guess it's kinda hard to explain right now lol.
I guess the best way for me to put it would be like, "what if Joe Satriani started a death metal/deathcore band?" Because it'd have absolutely devastating riffs, and brutal lead work. I probably could just say how Cannibal Corpse is today, but with more bluesy solos lol. That'd be an ideal sound for me. Joe Satriani starting a death metal band is an interesting thought in itself. Almost weird to say.
