Abazagorath Announces "The Satanic Verses" Album, New Tour Dates

Veteran New Jersey black metal band Abazagorath has announced a pair of Midwestern tour dates as well as new details on long awaited album "The Satanic Verses." The group comments:

"After almost half a year of intense and isolated recording, our new album The Satanic Verses has been recorded and is in its final stages of post-production. The entire band has poured all of our negative emotions and musical ability into creating a work to define our storied legacy and reflect Abazagorath's 17 year reign of darkness in the USBM scene!"

Abazagorath confirmed that the upcoming album is in fact based on the infamous "Gharaniq incident" - where the Islamic prophet Mohammed allegedly acknowledged 3 satanic goddesses in the Qu'ran- as well as the controversial Salman Rushdie novel "The Satanic Verses."

Abazagorath's upcoming tour dates will mark the band's first trip to the Midwest in its entire 17 year career. Catch the black metal outfit live:

November 22nd @ The Carabar in Columbus, OH with DEMONIC CHRIST and PTAHIL
November 23rd @ The Brauerhouse in Lombard, IL with MANTICORE, PROSANTUS INFERI
December 6th @ St Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, NY with REVENGE, KRIEG, and WOE
December 15th with DEIPHAGO, ENGORGE, and MAUSOLEUM @ TBA
