Theatre Nocturne To Release New Album "Depictions Of Life And Death"

In a follow-up to last summer's debut, "Anhedonia," American black metal outfit Theatre Nocturne has returned with "Depictions of Life and Death," due out January 11th. The album was engineered by Doug White at Watchmen Studios (Psyopus, The Bunny The Bear, Gym Class Heroes).

Says vocalist, Justin Foley: “Depictions of Life and Death tells the story of a cleansing purification, decadent intrigue, and self-murder... The lyrics have a conceptual storyline, but are still reflective of a personal recollection of events and emotions. So take from them what you will and let the music infuse. Furthermore…indulge."

The photograph for the album art is an original by Austrian artist, Krist Mort. A single of "Immortal Savage Nature" will be available for streaming at Decibel Magazine’s website on November 22nd. The track listing is as follows:

1. Dreams of a Scarlet Paradise
2. The Sordid Reflection
3. Immortal Savage Nature
4. Throne
5. Indiscernible Will
6. Above the Mist, Themes of Sorrow Whisper
