Preview Of Of New Live Release "Live At Brixton" Posted By Mastodon

On December 10th, Atlanta's Mastodon will release the new live album "Live at Brixton" as a digital only release. The album will feature the band's performance from February 11, 2012 at London's O2 Academy, Brixton, which capped off the band's world tour for the fifth studio album, "The Hunter." The sold out performance was the band's first show at Brixton. In addition to performing newer tracks like "Curl of the Burl," "Black Tongue," and "Dry Bone Valley," the band dug into their back catalog performing "Colony of Birchmen," "Capillarian Crest," and "Iron Tusk."

^absolutely agreed...the mammut has always suffered from the the fact that the vocals majorly suck live...which is exactly why I've never been able to convince myself to take the band seriously...

a disappointing parody perhaps?

always wanted to believe in their potential...I'm afraid they've finally really proven otherwise
