Marius Danielsen Launches Pledge Drive For New Metal Opera Project

Guitarist/composer Marius Danielsen of the Norwegian metal band Darkest Sins has launched a crowd sourcing campaign for the creation of his solo project and epic metal opera album "The Legend of Valley Doom, Pt. I." The album is targeted for a late 2014 release date and features guest appearances from vocalists Mark Boals (Iron Mask/Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen), Elisa Martin (Ex-Dark Moor/Ex-Fairyland), George Tsalikas (Zandelle) and Arthur Almeida (Attick Demons).

Danielsen comments: "I decided early in 2013 to do this thing, and I want to do it properly. I will have a lot of your favorite metal musicians on this record, and it will be recorded and mixed professionally. This will be the most epic metal opera ever written when it is finished, and you can be a part of it!"

Danielsen offers various perks ranging from a digital copy of the album for a $15 pledge to a guitar for a $3,000 pledge. To make a pledge, head on over to this location.
