Flotsam And Jetsam Cancels European Tour Dates With Hirax

Flotsam and Jetsam has posted the following message online about canceling upcoming European tour dates:

"Jeff Keller Management LLC, the management company for Flotsam & Jetsam and Hirax, has announced that due to circumstances beyond the bands and management’s control, the 'Metal Apocalypse' European tour that was scheduled to feature both artists will now be cancelled."

Jeff Keller states: "Unfortunately, it was in both bands best interest to not continue with the tour at this time. We apologize to the fans for this unfortunate circumstance, and I can assure the fans that both bands will be in Europe in 2014 for other touring and festival appearances."

Gutted - not seem them since the London Astoria Show in 1988 so was looking forward to this. Wouldn't be surprised if ticket sales were poor as the tour hadn't exactly been promoted much.
Would have loved to have heard tracks from their new Ugly Noise album which is their strongest for ages.
Let's hope the promise of 2014 dates isn't just festivals.....
