With Life In Mind Calling It Quits

Philadelphia's With Life In Mind has checked in with the following announcement about calling it quits:

"Hi all. Josh here. It’s been a while since we’ve updated anyone so I wanted to take the time to do that now. Over the past few years this band has allowed us to experience things we never would have thought possible, see places we had only hoped to see, and make some of the most amazing friendships we could ask for. Unfortunately, for myself and the rest of the guys, our time in WLIM has come to an end.

"Any and every reason for this would be a waste of time to go into detail about. The story is never new, no one is ever surprised. So, I’ll keep them brief and to the point. It has been a revolving door of members since 2009, making it very difficult to move forward with a lot of things. Money has never been something this band was blessed with, which can halt progress altogether. It came to a point where the remaining few of us could no longer pour what little money we had into what great amount we needed to get us to the next step. There really isn’t much more to it than that.

"We had always planned on releasing a new record. Clearly, this is not the note we wanted to end on. However, we will share with you a demo of what would have been the future of WLIM.

"I’ll end on a positive note. We never thought 5 years ago we would get the chance to play music for anyone who actually enjoyed it. WLIM was never a big band, but the kids that liked our music, you we’re some of the most passionate people we could ever hope to connect with. Playing to 100+ or 5… didn’t matter. Having the opportunity to travel to you, play our songs, and have you tell us 'thank you' was always a very backwards concept to me. It was always us that could never thank you enough for letting us live our dream, even if for a little while. We regret nothing.

"Thanks to everyone who played a part in WLIM over the years, we couldn’t have done it without you. Lastly, please support our brothers Justin Kraus in Shai Hulud and Eric English in Altars."
