New LP "Symmetry Of Scorn" Announced By Pursuing The End

Italian symphonic gothic act Pursuing The End announced that the debut full length release will be entitled "Symmetry of Scorn." The album will be issued on August 27, 2013 via Bakerteam Records. The album features new members: Luca Cocconi (Bass) (Ex-Browbeat), Gregorio Ferrarese (Drums) (Libria/Ex-Browbeat), Thomas Pipitone (Guitars) and Chiara Manese (vocals) (Ex-Astral Dive).

Formed in 2010 in Parma, Italy, the band quickly got critics' attention with its first EP "Dawn Of Expiation" (2011). Song "Followers Of The Wrong Way" and the title track were included in compilations such as Kill City (USA) and Mondo Metal (ITA). Another EP, "Withering," followed shortly after in 2012. The band has always believed in the commixture of musical genres - as the members' musical background includes anything from extreme metal to electronic music, not to mention the influence of classical music - but also in the commixture of visual arts in general, as it can be seen in the music video for the song "Withering," written and directed by Mike Lunacy (Dark Lunacy), which embodies all the features that make Pursuing The End unique: elegance and aggressiveness, science and spirituality.

"Symmetry Of Scorn" is a blend of a heavy melodic metalcore with elements from the world of pop, dance and the distinguishing features of the band's previous works as well as symphonic melodies.

The track listing for the album is:

1. The Last Truth
2. Something Remains
3. Cage Of Hypocrisy
4. From The Ashes
5. In Vain
6. Mercyful Vengeance
7. Human Revulsion
8. Out Of Control
9. Symmetry Of Scorn
10. Changes
