New Rocksmith 2014 Edition Revealed At E3

A new edition of Rocksmith - the game that lets you plug in a real electric guitar to help you learn how to play - was featured at this year's E3 convention. In fact, Alice in Chains' Jerry Cantrell was at Ubisoft's E3 booth showing off the all new Rocksmith 2014 Edition. The game will feature the Alice In Chains song "Stone" among many others.

Session Mode is a new mode that was shown at E3. Exclusively in the all-new Rocksmith 2014 Edition, Session Mode allows you to jam with a customizable band that actively and dynamically responds to your playing.

Rocksmith 2014 is due out this October 2013, sporting a new look, more flexible practice tools, new techniques and tunings, over 50 new hit songs, and much more. Rocksmith 2014 Edition will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and for the first time, Mac, and is backward compatible with your library from the original Rocksmith.
