The Infinite Staircase Finishes Recording New EP

The Infinite Staircase has checked in with the following announcement about finishing work on a new EP:

"So, earlier this week, shy of a few last minute surprises yet to be announced, we have officially finished recording our EP with Morgan Rose at Architekt Music in Butler, New Jersey and the mad scientist Mike Ferretti has officially begun the process of mixing the songs.

"Going into this we thought we already knew what our single would be at the end of the month, but the magic of the studio has since changed that. It goes to show, you really never know what's going to happen when recording. More details on that coming soon!

"There are officially 6 brand new songs which will be featured on this EP with at least one or two special bonuses planned as well. An official tracklisting will be announced shortly, along with the EP title and release date.

"In true TIS fashion, we've assembled a team of amazing musicians & friends to collaborate with us. This list includes the album's Producer/Drummer Morgan Rose (Sevendust, Call Me No One) as well as Sean 'Memphis' Hennesy (Candlebox, The Gracious Few), John 'JD' DeServio (Black Label Society, Cycle of Pain), Chris Caffery (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and Troy Cromwell (Cycle Of Pain).

"Making this EP has been a long time coming and a lot has happened. It's been a crazy journey with a lot of loss and accomplishments along the way.

"For those of you who know us or have followed us for a long time, you know how unsure our future has been throughout the last few years and we really owe it to Morgan for resurrecting us and also helping get the absolute best creatively out of us. He and my brother Lenny ended up being an amazing songwriting duo in the studio and we really hope that this EP allows us the opportunity to finish what we started and get back in the studio later this year to record a proper full length album with him.

"And finally, thank you to all of you - whether you've been with us since our first High School performance, The MS Show in 2005, the BLS & Sevendust Tour in 2009, or if you've just heard of us through 'The Pride' - we truly appreciate the amazing support and hope you all enjoy our new music as much, if not MORE than our old music.

"Stay tuned over the coming days & weeks for more photos, videos, announcements and most importantly - music!"
