The Rockstar Ramblings: Gluttony

Lots of girls, bandanas, and as usual, excess, highlight this week’s video offering.

Dallas rockers, BRAND NEW MACHINE, have released a new video for the song “Girls Like You.” It is the lead single from their album ‘The Devil Made Me Do It’, scheduled for release later this month. The video (which may or may not be shot inside a strip club) features lots of bikinis, fake Bret Michaels (Poison) cameos (dude from the band not only wears his bandana like Bret, but even has the thumbs-in-the-front-pocket look of our favorite reality star down pat), and the lead singer’s best Josh Todd (Buckcherry) impression…

Speaking of Josh Todd, BUCKCHERRY earlier this year released a new album, ‘Confessions’, along with a video for the lead single “Gluttony.” Given the title, this is pretty much what you would expect from this band and song: catchy riff, lesbians, pills, and lots of tattoos. Oh, and everything is inside a church and some guy who looks like Jesus is giving communion out during all of the debauchery. Almost forgot about that…

THE WINERY DOGS, a new super group that features Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), and Richie Kotzen (Mr. Big, Poison) have released a new video for “I’m No Angel”, their third video from their self-titled album to be released in July. This is a very serious video that says we are here to make new music sound like classic rock. Also, we like black non-descript baseball caps…
