Behemoth, who has been holed up in Hertz Studios working on a tenth full-length album, is pleased to announce the title of the band's forthcoming full-length album "The Satanist." The album, which follows previous full-length "Evangelion" (reviewed here), will come out in the fall of 2013 - stay tuned for more studio updates, music, pre-order info and more.

Front man Nergal comments: "It took us over two decades to come up with a title that…says it all. While our new songs artistically take surprisingly adventurous directions, our message stands steadfast—Proud and Radical. The Satanist stands for undying yearning for liberation and love for freedom in all aspects of life. Considering all our life experiences that often took dramatic curves I couldn't think of more appropriate and fitting statement of who and where we are now."

As the band continues to record, Behemoth has been posting images and lyrics for portions of new songs at Facebook. Fans can also read an in-depth interview with Nergal in the June/July issue of Revolver.

In other news, Nergal also recently revealed his own custom motorcycle. Check it out at this location.

I mean...I GUESS that title works. No matter what, I'm anticipating a killer album, regardless of the name.

^^There is a lot more to there word 'Satanist' than the belief of a red man down south with a pitch fork. Sounds simplistic, yes, but I'm sure the album will have more depth; maybe a conceptual album...?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I know the in's and out's of "Satanism" beyond the glorified image used as a propaganda tool and fear tactic. The name just sort of comes off awkwardly to me.

But, like I say, this album should be awesome. Behemoth doesn't disappoint.

Awkward name but I agree with others that behemoth doesn't disappoint.

I mean, it's behemoth. It ain't Asking Alexandria or The Devil Wears Prada for goodness sakes...it's Behemoth!

They already have one named Satanica... Running out of ideas?

I'm still excited, and relieved that Nergal is still making music after his cancer ordeal a few years ago. Should be good regardless of the name.
