Armed For Apocalypse Announces New Album "The Road Will End"

West Coast metal deviants Armed For Apocalypse are pleased to announce the release of their sophomore full-length later this Summer. Titled "The Road Will End," the follow-up to 2009’s "Defeat" debut was recorded with Chris Keene at Cutters Cathedral in Chico, California. All drums were tracked with Matt Pedri at Old Sailor Studios (also in Chico).

Elaborates lead guitarist Cayle Hunter: “The Road Will End is the best group of songs any of us has ever been associated with. We put this album through an extremely strong filter and put every single riff under the microscope. We kept challenging each other to not just write a riff, but to write thee riff. If it didn't force us make that ‘oooh’ face and bang our heads in the practice spot, it got cut. We wanted to make an album that was stacked with heaters from beginning to end - no filler tracks - and we feel we've accomplished that. We hope it gets the stamp of approval from our fellow metal heads around the world!”

Adds vocalist/guitarist Kirk Williams: "We are incredibly pumped on this record. It's been a long time in the making and has turned out to be exactly what we wanted: A one hundred percent accurate and sincere representation of us as musicians and people. In many ways I feel like it's the first real Armed For Apocalypse record. It practically wrote itself, like we collectively vomited this heavy, disgusting thing that was growing in our guts for years."

"The Road Will End" will be released via Ironclad Recordings on July 23rd, 2013. The track listing is as follows:

1. The Starting Line Is A Trip Wire
2. Better Worlds
3. The Well
4. Open Wound
5. Built To Kill
6. The Road Will End
7. Worth The Weight
8. Drawing A Line
9. Happy Hour (Disciple of Death)
10. Ends Meet
