Combining melodic guitar solos with speed and technicality, while throwing in the snarl of death metal, U.K. act Cryostorm works all angles for a listen that's brutal and endlessly energetic.

"Version" is Cryostorm's debut full-length album featuring all of the band's earliest material, with three tracks previously being demoed on the "Destroyer Of Ardor" sampler CD released at Bloodstock 2011.

Today Metalunderground.com is proud to bring you the final finished product - check out all the tracks from "Version" in the player below!

A launch party for the "Version" CD will also take place at The Cavern in Exeter on the 27th of May. Full details are available at the show's Facebook event page.

The band's upcoming second album has already been written and recording will begin sometime in the not too distant future, so stay tuned for further news.

Energetic is right, very upbeat for death metal.
Leads smoke.
Vocals don’t grate.
I was going to stop after the first track but I kept listening.
Yeah they have skills but so what, so do a hundred other techy bands.

Actually………I figured out what I hear………
It’s not a vocalist that fits perfectly, he does.
It’s not the brilliant and varied leads and riffs.
It’s not the technical and varied drumming.
Bass is pretty buried in the mix.
What I hear is something that is lacking from SO many different artists. Especially well established acts.
I hear CONVICTION and I like it.
Cool album cover too.
