Metal Inquisitor Inks Deal With Massacre Records

Massacre Records has checked in with the following announcement about inking a deal with Metal Inquisitor:

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to welcome Metal Inquisitor to the Massacre Records family! Lead guitarist Blumi formed the band in 1998 and drummer Witchhammer, vocalist El Rojo, and bassist KronoS joined the line-up soon after.

"They started writing songs and released the 3-track demo 'Seven Inches For The Second Attack' in 1998. Witchhammer left the band about 2 years later and was replaced by drummer Havoc. The second guitarist T.P. joined the band as well.

"With this new line-up they recorded the band's debut 'The Apparition,' which was released in 2002 via Iron Glory Records. Shortly after, the band went on The Apparition Tour 2002/2003. In 2004 they played at the RockHard and Keep It True festivals in Germany.

"In spring 2005, Metal Inquisitor signed with Hellion Records and released the second album 'Doomsday For The Heretic' in November 2005. Within the following years KronoS left the band, was replaced by Dutch G, re-joined the band and was forced to leave the band in late 2010 due to health issues. Since October 2010 Cliff Bubenheim is the band's bassist.

"Metal Inquisitor's third studio album 'Unconditional Absolution' was released in late November 2010 and was album of the month in the RockHard magazine #283! During the past years, Metal Inquisitor has shared stages with bands such as A Traitor Like Judas, Bloodattack and Witchburner and appeared on festivals like the Swordbrothers Festival, Wacken Open Air, Headbangers Open Air, RockHard Festival or Bang Your Head!

"The band's goal is to play music that's influenced by traditional heavy metal, that's why their sound is often referred to as NWOBHM. In March 2013 Metal Inquisitor released the vinyl single 'Trial By Euthanasia' featuring Jess Cox (ex-Tygers Of Pan Tang) and Brian Ross (Satan/Blitzkrieg). Keep your eyes open regarding news about the upcoming Metal Inquisitor album!"
