Legendary metal act Black Sabbath has posted the very first snippet of new material from the band's forthcoming "13" album.

"13" is the first album to feature Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler since the 1978 album "Never Say Die."

The video snippet also unveils the album cover for the release, which is expected in June 2013 through Vertigo Records. Check out the clip here:

That's definitely a Fairies Wear Boots-type rhythm. That's a good sign.

My boner was quickly extinguished when the video finished. I'm interesting from the few seconds I heard. Iommi's tone sounds bada$$ like usual.

I'm digging that small tidbit. Definitely want to hear more. Here's hoping for more material that sounds like that.

Sounds classic to me.
First day buyer here.
I knew Geezer and Tony would bring it.
Sucks with no Bill but I’m over it.
And I know a lot of people bash Ozzy’s vocals but common the guy’s five thousand years old.
I was actually hoping he would do more vocals like he did on the original Black Sabbath song.
That deep, almost groan like vocal and not the high pitched 80’s stuff that he clearly struggles with now.
These 27 seconds just made my Friday.

that riff deserves a way better vocal...I can hear it in my head perfectly

osbourne's lazy, flat toned croaking just killed that sh!t for me....but at least the lyrics is strong eh ;P

"na-o where to ru-un, na-o where to hi-yide..."

Seriously? Come on na-ow....batman at the front renders this project Slack Shabbath

Heh, Brother HR always the skeptic. Haven't heard enough of it to form an opinion yet, but I like where it's headed. I'll definately pick this up.
