Rivers Of Nihil Issues New Album Recording Update

Reading, Pennsylvania's death metal quintet Rivers of Nihil recently entered Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg with Erik Rutan to record the band's Metal Blade Records debut, which is due out before the end of 2013.

Drummer Ron Nelson checked in after completing tracking the drums and here's what he had to say:

"Tracking went awesome; we were right on schedule with how we planned it out and everything went smoothly. Erik and I had very similar visions in the way we wanted the drums to sound and he delivered. Although this is our first full-length release, they're going to be the most natural drums Rivers has had to date and we couldn't be happier with how they sound."

Stay tuned as more studio info is released. Tour dates for the summer are in the works so stay tuned for dates and more studio updates.
