The Afterimage Launches Crowd Funding Campaign After Van Breakdown
The Afterimage has launched a crowd funding campaign to help offset the costs of recording and a recent vehicle breakdown that has prevented the band from continuing to tour. Details on the campaign are available here. The group comments:
"Just a week ago (During our Cross Canada tour) we met a very unfortunate fate. Our van was written off and scrapped, our trailer impounded.
"We even had to call 911 to transport us to the nearest town (Broadview, SK) because we had absolutely no money for a cab. We spent countless hours in freezing temperatures waiting for help. With all the fees and costs involved, any funds raised previously during the tour quickly dissipated. All of us put absolutely everything we have into this project. We all work full time to fund this band.
"Regrettably, that just isn't enough at this point and we could really use YOUR assistance. Please consider donating to our indiegogo campaign. We do not want to have to bring this project to a halt because of these events. Your support means everything to us... we must move forward together. There's tons of sweet perks for those who donate as well!"
