Insurrection Launches Crowd Funding Campaign To Record New Album

Canadian death metallers Insurrection are reaching out to fans for their forthcoming and third full-length release "Prototype" by crowd funding the album via Indiegogo.com. Insurrection will be offering eight various packages to fans in support of raising funds for the release. Check out full details on the campaign right here.

The band has set a monetary goal at $2500 to produce the next album as Insurrection plans to record with Topon Das of Fuck the Facts along with mixing and mastering by Pierre Rémillard (Obliveon, Vulgaires Machins, Cryptopsy, Krisiun, Quo Vadis, Gorguts, Martyr). Artwork will be done by Jeremy Dumouchel, who also designed previous albums "Prologue" and "Fracture."

Vocalist Stef Jomphe comments, "We're really beyond excited about this project, it represents the synergy, the unique bond between a band and the fans supporting it; and with their support, there's nothing we can't accomplish! Helping us throughout this great step in the band's life! It's a great feeling, especially in the underground scene where being honest about what you do is all you got. We truly have the best people surrounding us. Thank you for helping us continue doing what we love to do for those we write our music for."
