Horrendous line up outsdide COB and AA.
But stupid me i "ll still probably pay 150$ for a pit ticket to see amarth and bodom do 45 min sets each.
Atleast i"ll beat the traffic getting the fvck out of there.

I thought it looked pretty good overall. Of course the bad bands are horrible and I'll skip them completely, but MH, Zombie, Amon Amarth, Behemoth, and COB works for me. I'll pay for lawn "seats" - never much cared to pay the big bucks to be seated in the pavilion.

Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Bodom, Machine Head, and Mastodon is good enough for me. Everything else is a big fat PASS on my part.

Also, just a mini-rant, I'm getting tired of seeing Sumerian Records stick their nose in every single festival tour. I know they're the "in" label with the teen crowd, but I really don't understand the draw. Guess I'm getting too old lol

Don't think it's too bad a lineup. There's 5 or 6 bands there I'd pay to see on headline tours. A few up and coming bands on the small stage aren't bad. Sure, Five Finger Death Punch blows, but I can hit the beer tent during their performance.

Hi,This fest is worse than last year are you a moron or just into screamo n maybe nu metal most crap come on. This lineup..is one of the better 1's. Also Yes,agree Mastodon,Butcher Babies not a fan of but..look at the bigger picture who's gonna draw more people Amon Amarth or Mastodon in lots of cites sad to say Mastadon will or say Five Finger Death Punch or Amon Amarth again sad to say 5 Finger Death Punch would win hands down sad but..true. Be glad there not the main headliner because I'm sure..if it wasn't for them touring so much they would be the headliner. Also I'm Happy NO Dying Fetus,Korn,Slipknot,Staind,Down etc..I do plan to attend this fest 1 date maybe 2 dates even. Also I am a Slayer fan but..sorry fans they are boring live.

Wow, why all the complaining?

I only have to drop 20 bucks to watch Children of Bodom, Behemoth, Machine Head, Battlecross, and Huntress up close..... I've heard Born of Osiris is half decent so I may check em out as well.

I'll admit it'd be nice to be up close to Amon Amarth and Mastodon but it's whatever, I'll be a bit worn out at that point of the day anyway. Only beef I have with this lineup is no classic bands, I guess you could argue Rob Zombie is at this point in time though.

20 bucks for COB playing 45 mins is about the same price I'd pay to sit around a club till 1 am to watch a 55 minute set......

Seems legit, out of about 20 artists half are worth watching (at least for me, but everyone else is posting the same artists), good god don't any of you people have to take piss/food breaks?

The worst lineup/main stage besides maybe 2011's offering, IMO. Although early $20 lawn seats to see born of osiris, JFAC, COB, behemoth and MIW may lure me back. Was hoping for a Killswitch appearance. Oh, well.

17 you had slayer and motorhead on the mainstage last year.
Are seriously saying this years mainstage outside amon amarth is better than last years?
If so your critique on the quality of a metal show or festival is pretty gay.
I guess will see when the attendance figuers come in this year compared to last years which was mayhems highest grossing year to date.

Mike godfried, yes I'd much rather pay less money to see slayer in a GA field than pay 100 dollars to sit in some seat while watching Slayer on a stage down below. Therefore I'm glad I only have to drop 20 bucks to see a decent amount of small stage bands.

Yea, I'm a Five Finger Death Punch fan HC, so I can't say sh!t. Amon Amarth should play ahead of them though, but whatever, and I don't care about Mastodon that much, I only like maybe 3 songs by them, sorry bro. I can see your reasoning for the butthurt that consumes you. (I don't mean that in a mean way lol)

Put Machine Head, Bodom, Mastadon, and Amon Armath on one stage with 90 minutes each and I will pay $100 for the ticket.
Sick of garbage like 5FPD getting put ahead of more deserving bands. Looks like I'll be getting a lawn ticket and leaving after Mastadon.
