Fit For A King Streaming New Song "The Lioness"

For Fit For A King and the band's fans, months of anticipation are about to pay off. The Texas act has spent recent weeks unveiling new music via outlets as diverse as Alternative Press, Noisecreep, and Absolute Punk.

Now, less than a week before the release of its Solid State Records debut, "Creation/Destruction" - in stores and online March 12th - the band is dropping another ferocious new track, “The Lioness,” as a final preview via Revolver. Listen to “The Lioness” now right here.

“The song tells the story of a man who sells his soul to Satan in exchange for happiness, but finds out that in doing so, he only finds death,” vocalist Ryan Kirby explains to Revolver. “I came up with the concept because the desire for material things and temporary happiness was something I have personally struggled with a lot. And this song serves as a reminder for me of the fate that awaits me if I fall into that lifestyle.”

The band's upcoming tour dates are as follows:

3/7 Springfield MO @ Transformation Tattoo Gallery
3/8 Little Rock AR @ Downtown Music
3/9 Tupelo MS @ Goodtime Charlie’s
3/10 Baton Rouge LA @ Mud & Water’s Bar
3/11 Houston TX @ Walters
3/13 Mission TX @ Las Palmas Race Park (Never Say Never Fest)
3/14 Corpus Christi TX @ Texas House of Rock
3/15 Tyler TX @ Crossroads Music Venue
3/16 Grand Prarie TX @ QuickTrip Park (South By So What?!)
3/17 Abiline TX @ The Juka House
