Castle Announces New U.S. And European Tour Dates

Female-fronted doom thrashers Castle have announced a slew of headlining tour dates along the West Coast before they depart to Europe to support heavy proggers Intronaut on a spring tour that includes a stop at the prestigious Roadburn Festival.

Immediately following the Intronaut tour, Castle will perform at the Netherlands' Doom Fest and London's Desertfest, where the band will play alongside acts including Cough, Pentagram, and recent tour mates Witch Mountain. Additionally, Castle has also been announced to appear on the third annual Doom In June festival in Las Vegas.

Due to the Intronaut tour, Castle will not be able to attend the April 21 Juno Awards (Canada's equivalent of the Grammys) ceremony in Regina, Sask., where the band's 2012 release "Blacklands" is nominated in the "Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year" category.
