Italian doom band Crimson Dawn (originally formed in 2005 as a side project of Drakkar guitarist Dario Beretta and Crown of Autumn master musician Emanuele Rastelli) has finished the recordings of the band's debut release "In Strange Aeons." The band is shopping the album to labels, so no release date has been announced.

The announcement came via its Official Facebook Page:

"Our debut album, 'In Strange Aeons...', is ready! It will include 10 tracks (8 songs + 1 intro and 1 interlude) for a total running time around 50 minutes. It's a mix of Doom, Classic and Epic Metal that we hope you'll enjoy as much as we do!

"The album has been recorded at Elnor Studio (Italy) from Mat Stancioiu and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio (Sweden). Soon we will give you a chance to listen to one of the songs, a small preview for all you doom-aficionados out there.

"At the moment, we don't have a label yet, so we can't forecast a release date. We'll be trying to secure a deal in the upcoming weeks and keep you posted. But we're pretty confident that this record has what it takes to find its way to your stores very soon."

Crimson Dawn is:

Dario Beretta (Drakkar): 7 String Guitar, Background Vocals
Luca Lucchini (Ex-All Soul's Day/Ex-Dark Ages) - Drums
Antonio Pecere (Betoken/Rapid Fire) - Lead Vocals
Alessandro Reggiani Romagnoli - Bass
Emanuele Laghi - Keyboards
Marco Rusconi - 6 Strings Guitar
