Insane Recruits New Guitarist Tibor 'Taki' Takács, Announces Live Activity

Hungary's Insane has checked in with the following announcement about lineup changes and gearing up for new live activity:

"Winter slowly comes to an end and as spring approaches, our plans and ideas are getting more and more concrete so we would like to give away some details about what you can expect from us this year.

"Our autumn/winter tour was finished on 13 January in Veszprém and had left a very positive feeling in us. A lot of new friends, huge parties, great experiences, good memories. Of course we have learned a lot too, because you know what the saying says… Very big thank you goes to the two fill-in guitarists Gábor Domán and Gergo Kollár. They had only a few weeks to learn the setlist before the tour started, but after a few gigs they just got better and less stage fright, haha. Gábor will continue to remain in the band, but we part our ways with Gergo and here we would like to thank him for the past 4 months, and say good luck with his band, Still With Soul.

"At the same time we`d like to introduce Tibor 'Taki' Takács as the new guitarist of Insane! Taki has repeatedly toured the country with his former band Jackpot, so he is pretty battle-hardened, so with him in the band we finally feel that the line-up is complete again. As you probably already know, in March a new tour will kick off with our new friends, CsakazértiS, and with some exceptions there will be Apey And The Pea at most of the stations as a regular guests. For more details please check out the events on facebook!

"The new tour also brings new merchandise, fresh designs which are about to be presented, but of course there are still pieces of our old stuffs, so either here on facebook, or on Popshop Websop, or at our shows you can get some merch. It looks like our long awaited project to shoot a video will be implemented over the next few weeks. It will be for the song ’Lighthouse’! By the end of this up coming tour, the summer festival season will begin in mid May with Pannonia Festival, and of course we’re going to play at as many festivals as possible!

"Late summer and early autumn, there are plans to have a more comprehensive tour abroad, but you still have to wait for more details about this… But as soon as things are set and done, we`ll report it immediately. After this we’re planning to have a little so called creative break to write and polish new songs for the brand new full length album. We’re planning to record it early next year some time. So, that’s it dudes and dudettes, we’re looking forward to a really exciting year, see you at the concerts, and thank you for your never ending love and support!"
