Tides Of Virtue Issues Statement On Calling It A Day

U.K. band Tides of Virtue has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:

"I realize this wasn't the announcement people were expecting to hear tonight and it saddens us to have to say this but Tides Of Virtue has come to an end.

"As our personal lives and jobs have become busier it hasn't been possible to keep the flame beneath Tides alight and as you may or may not know we have lost several members along the way.

"We want to thank everyone who has been a member of Tides of Virtue from the start and to the promoters and friends that have booked us shows and put a roof over our heads and most importantly thank you to all of the fans that supported us, whether it was coming to see us at a show, buying a T-shirt/hoodie or our album or even just checking us out online. I wouldn't swap any of our experiences on the road for anything (including the insane 24 hour drive to Barcelona to play with Texas In July).

"We were due to go in to the studio this month and announce our record label, unfortunately this will never come to the light of day. Travis (drums) will be taking some of these tracks to continue working on them so look out for a project from him in the near future.

"What we will leave you with is two demo tracks which we have released under the name of WAKE recorded by Dan Cooke and available to download for free here. One of which Nick (vocals) has made a lyric video for. He will be continuing with his graphic design work which can be seen at this location, so if you need anything designed or like the video let him know.

"Thank you for taking the time to read this, stay metal! Goodbye from Tides of Virtue."
