Moonspell Announces Finnish Tour Dates With Swallow The Sun

Moonspell has issued the following announcement about upcoming tour dates with Swallow the Sun:

"At last! After trying out many times in the years following our last visit to Finland in Tuska’s 2007 edition, we are proud to announce our return to the land of the thousand lakes.

"The band opted for club shows, upon fan request for longer sets, and will be playing in the cities/clubs announced in the poster. We are also happy to inform that Finnish already legendary dark doomsters Swallow the Sun will be the special guests in all dates.

"We hope now that all our Finnish fans pack the place and come out to celebrate with Moonspell twenty years of passion and doom. Omnium Gatherum will perform with these two giants in Jyväskylä and Cataleptic in Turku and in Helsinki."

Dates are as follows:

4.4. Lutakko, Jyväskylä
5.4. Klubi (Live-side), Turku
6.4. Virgin Oil Co., Helsinki

Ticket pre-sale will begin on Wednesday February 6th and tickets can be purchased from this location.

Shame. Both are great acts. I'd use vacation time to catch/recover from a Moonspell/Swallow the Sun show, even if it was out of the way.

Agreed.

Most of it is from Moonspell's album "Alpha Noir". The green eye in the center is from Swallow the Sun's "Emerald Forest and the Blackbird". Both are damn fine albums too.
