Antagonist Zero Signs Deal With Art Gates Records

Art Gates Records has checked in with the following statement about inking a deal with Antagonist Zero to release the band's latest album in Spain:

"We’re excited to announce the collaboration of Art Gates Records with Finnish metal combo Antagonist Zero. Antagonist Zero is a five-piece metal band from Porvoo, Finland, formed in 2010. Despite the band’s young age, the members have many years of experience playing in different bands, such as Adastra, Cavus, Coprolith and Lost In Tears.

"The band describes their music as 'Catatonic metal,' which includes elements from different types of metal genres, namely doom as well as death/black and post metal. Influenced by bands such as Opeth, Shining, Katatonia or Antimatter. These five Finns have toured across Europe, Baltics and Russia spreading their catatonic music.

"Their debut release Nighttime Harmony came out in early 2012. This three song EP is only a taste of the band’s material, of which there is more than enough for a whole album.

"Their first full length album 'Doomed,' after receiving smashing reviews from the international press, now arrives to Spain through Art Gates Records. The Spanish release date is fixed for the 11th of February 2013."
