Swiss metallers Samael have issued the following announcement about their upcoming Inferno Festival appearance:

"S A M A E L will perform their 1996 album 'Passage' for the first time in its entirely at this year edition of Inferno Festival Switzerland on the 15th of March 2013. Ticket are already available right here."

The "Passage" album was a landmark release for Samael, as it saw the band officially leaving behind the previously known black metal sound. Samael's latest full-length album release "Lux Mundi" (reviewed here) has widely been considered a return to form and an unofficial sequel to "Passage." Check out the song "In Gold We Trust" off the "Lux Mundi" album below.

Passage was probably their best with Ceremony being in close second, maybe tied.
Sadly the new album is just too upbeat.
Samael was so much better when Vorph was singing about hanging himself.
(sigh….the good old days)
I’d buy a dvd of this concert though if they film it.
