Blockheads Reveals Details On New Album "This World Is Dead"

French grindcore activists Blockheads have revealed the details of their forthcoming 5th full-length, and first album in over six years, entitled "This World Is Dead." Recorded in Geneva Switzerland at Terrier 5 with Jerome of Nostromo / Mumakil, "This World Is Dead" features 25 songs clocking in at over 40 minutes of brutally efficient, frenzied grind.

The album will see it’s release on CD/LP/digital format on January 22nd (North America), January 21st (UK/World), and January 18th (Germany/Benelux/Finland). The album’s artwork and pre-order options are available now at this location while a trailer featuring a sample of new material can be found below.

The band commented on the upcoming album: “We think that our new tracks mirror the same state of mind which still exists since Blockheads' beginning and we can't wait for its release and to play on stage again.”
