Despite performing a "farewell" tour and insisting the band was being dissolved, Abigail Williams apparently hasn't bothered with any actual down time before getting to work on a new album and follow-up to "Becoming" (reviewed here).

The band commented on Facebook: "New album coming in 2013... We are happy to announce that Ashley Ellyllon will rejoin Abigail Williams for our fourth full length album. Although we did not announce it or make it public she also worked on our last album 'Becoming' with us. Anyone with a CD booklet can see that though... wink wink."

Further details on the upcoming post-"breakup" album and tour dates will be announced as they are made available.

Glad to see things work out, I believe "Becoming" had alot to do with it, it's a great album and I hope to share the stage once again with these guys someday.

Can't help but laugh.
Williams.
Soundgarden.
Alice in Chains.
Broken Hope.
Did I miss any?
Oh yeah, like ten million other bands that break up and then reform.
Why bother? Unless you're breaking up for something bigger and better?
It's crap like this why no one takes break ups seriously.

I don't mind when a band like Soundgarden breaks up and reunites, but this isn't the first time Abigail Williams has done this and they have alot less status than Soundgarden, AIC and the like, so it seems quite uninteresting. Either break up or don't, I'm not bothered either way, just make a decision.

@Oz…I think it was about six am when I wrote that so you’ll have to forgive the sloppy post.
AIC and Soundgarden probably weren’t two bands to reference but I think you get my point.
A lot of groups break up, get back…repeat.
It’s just so annoying.
Make up your friggin minds. All you’re doing is pi$$ing off your fans.

When they announced the group's "break-up" they also stated that the members would be working together in the future and would be releasing new material soon, so this doesn't seem weird at all. They probably wanted to do something different, then just decided it would be easier for all parties if they just kept the Abigail Williams moniker.
