A Wanted Awakening Recruits New Vocalist Caitlin Soucy

A Wanted Awakening's vocalist Rick has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band: "I am stepping down as the lead singer for A Wanted Awakening due to nodes on my vocal cords. I went to see a specialist about this issue and the doctor told me I need to take 3-4 months of vocal rest or risk permanent damage. This was a very difficult decision for me to make but in the end it was the right decision for the band and myself.

"I can honestly say that making the record Catharsis with four of my best friends is one of the greatest creative ventures I have ever been a part of. Thank you to all the fans who have supported the music and the band over the years.

"P.S. 'When you're in a rock and roll band with someone, you're bonded for life.' - Andy Bernard (The Office)"

The band has also announced the recruitment of new member Caitlin Soucy. She had this to say on the matter:

"I am overwhelmed with excitement, and extremely honored to now be part of a band I've been a huge fan of for several years now. I would like to say thank you to A Wanted Awakening for making me part of the band, and thank you to our friends, fans, and families for being so supportive! To Rick Hardy, dude I have some big shoes to fill. Your vocals are insane. Thank you for being so supportive of me joining the band, and I wish the best for you and Krissy. This is all crazy and awesome, and I cant wait to see where the future takes us. Durka Durka"
