Machine Head will be releasing the new live album "Machine Fucking Head Live" on November 13th, 2012 via Roadrunner Records. The label comments:

"Machine Head's studio albums rule. We all know this. But honestly, you've got to experience this band's music in the live setting. Machine Head has spent nearly two full decades establishing itself as one of the best live acts in the hard rock and metal world, bringing venues and crowds to their knees night after night, for years at a stretch.

"So, the good news is that starting on November 13th and for the first time since 2003's Hellalive, you'll be able to experience the band's crushing live show in your home, on your iPhone, wherever. 'Machine Fucking Head Live,' a DOUBLE live album, features some of the best moments from the band's recent world tour."

Says frontman Robb Flynn, "We culled some of the best nights where the band and crowd were on fire and made a badass, nearly two-hour, double live album, which is a great documentation of where the band is at, 18 years deep."

The track listing is:

1. I Am Hell (Sonata in C#)
2. Be Still and Know
3. Imperium
4. Beautiful Mourning
5. The Blood, the Sweat, the Tears
6. Locust
7. This is the End
8. Aesthetics of Hate
9. Old
10. Darkness Within
11. Bulldozer
12. Ten Ton Hammer
13. Who We Are
14. Halo
15. Davidian

Love Machine Head, but don't really need another live album from them. Especially without a dvd to accompany it.

^^^Another live album from them??? Oh, and give it time. RR will release a special edition with live DVD footage about 6 months after this drops. It's what they do in order to get as much money as they can from each of their artists fans.

Hellalive was recorded in 2001. We've had THREE killer, classic records from MH since. About time, if you ask me!

Forgot about Hellalive... I hated Supercharger so I never picked it up and removed it from my bio-databank. Lol.

It's actually a great record. Varied set (all four MH albums up to that point were represented pretty evenly, though they skimped a little on The More Things Change), clean and heavy mix, excellent performances. It was a nice way to close a chapter in the band's career.

Be that as it may... I HATED Supercharger, so less is more when it comes to that album for me. I'm sure this one will kick arse but I'm still going to wait and see if RR does their usual and releases another version with the DVD in six months ;-)
