First minute was promising and then all down hill from there. Sounds like "We are the World."

I'm sorry, but that sounded terrible to my ears. You can hear the tightness in his chest, like he's trying too hard.
The over-embellished syllables just emphasizes that. It's just not fluid and natural.
The guitar solo at around the 3 minute mark was really thin sounding and amateurish.
The whole thing sounded like a demo from a young band - not the work of seasoned pros.

Also, good luck getting decent attendance at the Dallas and Houston shows right after Thanksgiving. Plus, Epica will have already blown the doors off those cities earlier that week.

Fvcking horrible. The wheels came off the wagon. Littered with overproduction and yet it still sounds like complete and utter sh!t. Karma serves Geoff his fat ugly arse on a silver platter. I could totally see the Muppets doing the backups on this.

@DJ: everything you said in post#3 is spot on.

I’ve really grown to hate “he of the air born saliva”……..but I listened with open ears and…
It sounds like most modern recordings…hollow, lifeless, over produced.
The songs biggest crime isn’t just being bad, it’s being utterly yawn inducing and unmemorable.
Not a memorable riff or hook.
No vocal line stood out once.
Bass blends right in and the drums could have been a machine.
I shut it off after the chorus.
