Ashes Of Ares Announces New Live Shows, Posts Prog Power Teaser

Ashes of Ares is a band which represents the culmination of experiences, trials, and tribulations of founding members Matt Barlow, Van Williams, and Freddie Vidales. Within months of their departures from the iconic metal bands Iced Earth and Nevermore, the trio came together with a renewed drive to create a sound which is a true collaboration of their personal influences, ideas and visions.

Matt Barlow has now checked in with the following updates about the band playing live shows:

"Here is your first chance to see us perform live: Saturday November 10th - Towson, Maryland. We'll be supporting a great cause. We hope to see you there!

"We are very happy to announce that Ashes of Ares is confirmed for the 2013 ProgPower USA show for next September. Make sure you clear your calender! We will be joining a fantastic line up of METAL acts, and are preparing to have a blast. Cheers!"

A teaser trailer featuring some of the band's material, created for the Prog Power 2013 festival, can also be found at this location.

The uncreative forces behind two not so iconic bands (in the grand scheme of things) join forces to keep their names in the press....sh**ty music, pointless hype and a un-named, expendable line-up of turd polishers. Hurray.
