Basick Records is proud to announce the latest addition to the label's growing international roster with American tech metallers Dissipate. The band’s new release, "Tectonics," is set to be released in Europe on November 19th and North America on November 20th. Basick Records comments:

"There is absolutely no doubting that California's Dissipate has a hell of a lot of noise to bring to the table. Showcasing genre-blending versatility, this is forward-thinking music that combines the percussive riffing and crushing precision of death metal, served with a brutal metal core edge. Dissipate has evolved at an incredible pace since re-grouping in 2011, working hard to hone and advance their sound, leading to a debut EP that pushes boundaries, complete with moments of exhilarating intensity."

Dissipate is Josh Foster (Vocals), Mike Gianelli (8-string Guitar), Jeff Faria (Drums/Percussion) and JT (Bass guitar). To celebrate the announcement, the band and label today released a guitar play through showcase video for the track "Motion," featuring guitarist Mike Gianelli, which can be viewed below.

Guitarist Mike Gianelli comments on the deal with Basick: "We are extremely grateful to be signing with Basick Records and to be given the opportunity to prove ourselves! To be on a label with such talented and eclectic artists is what we’ve always strived for since the beginning the band. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, booked us on shows and people who have helped get our name out there! We look forward to hitting the road, meeting new people and melting faces! Boom!"

Nathan 'Barley' Phillips, CEO of Basick Records added: "I'm absolutely thrilled to welcome DISSIPATE into the BASICK family! When a band mixes the discordant melody of DEFTONES with the sheer ferocity and filth of bands like CAR BOMB and ION DISSONANCE, I have no choice but to sit up and pay attention. These guys slay; hearing something so goddamn raw and unhinged in an age of digital over-editing is just so refreshing - I cannot wait to see what we achieve together in the years to come!"
