Nephelium Nominated In "Best Metal" Category At Toronto Independent Music Awards

Nephelium, the brutal death metal act that traces its roots back to the late 1990s from the city of Dubai and which re-established itself in Canda, is proud to announce the band's nomination at this year's Toronto Independent Music Awards in the Best Metal Category. Nephelium drummer Alan Madhavan comments:

"We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated in the 'Best Metal' category for the Toronto Independent Music Awards 2012. We are honoured to be nominated alongside Thirdrite, Blind Race, The Marked, and Sumo Cyco as they are all immensely talented. This is a great achievement and is the result of years of hard work and dedication. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans and supporters in the music industry as this would not be possible without them!"

Where: Phoenix Concert Theatre (410 Sherbourne St.)
Tickets: $15 Advance, all proceeds going to Music Counts (www.musicounts.ca)
