Canada's Untimely Demise has issued the following announcement about parting ways with drummer Scott Cross:

"After 6 years of great times making music, playing tonnes of killer shows and meeting amazing people across the country, our dear friend (and drummer) Scott Cross has decided to leave Untimely Demise. It was an amicable split and we wish him success and joy in all of his future endeavors.

"Untimely Demise has enlisted the percussion services of veteran Canadian drummer Cory Thomas (Putrescence) for our upcoming Western Canadian shows, starting with a huge event in Edmonton on September 14th, where we will play support for the formidable Striker (CAN) at their 'Armed To The Teeth' CD release show!

"We have just returned from Winnipeg where we had a bunch of productive rehearsals with Cory and he is sounding absolutely bludgeoning on the kit! The chemistry is undenable and we know this begins a exciting new chapter for the band. Stayed tuned for more momentous news..."
