9 Years Denied Streaming New Single "Obsession"

Obstinate Music Group and Sidestep Studios have released the first single from 9 Years Denied - a music project put together by producer Scott Moore from Nashville, TN. Scott (aka “Pighead”) is a producer engineer at Sidestep Studios, and owner of the record label Obstinate Music Group, all located in Nashville.

The "Obsession" single features special guest Rob Rock (Impelliteri, Driver) on vocals. You can listen to the song via Reverbnation or in the player below.

“When I first wrote the song many years ago, I actually had Rob in mind to sing the song. I was very fortunate that he was available and willing to provide the vocals for the song. Rob is an amazing singer and nailed the song perfectly,” says Moore.

Scott penned the song and played the guitars and bass tracks for the song. Drums were provided by Tony Morra, “the easiest session drummer in Nashville to work with…” according to Moore.

Another strategy for ensuring the songs authentic hard rock sound was the help of producer Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Skid Row). “Michael is a great friend, who was willing to work with me throughout the entire process of the creation of this song. That includes pre-production and tracking the song at SideStep Studios. He knew what I wanted and how to get there. He is easily one of the best rock producers/engineers on the planet, no doubt. I am honored he took to time to be part of this.”

Wagener mixed and mastered the song at WireWorld Studio in Nashville, TN. This song is the first of many projects for “Pighead” and Sidestep Studios.
