We The Martyr Announces Lineup Changes, Working On New Album
British Colombia metalcore act We The Martyr has issued the following update about lineup changes and working on a new album:
"As most of you are aware, we are on leave to write and record a full length album. Since we have been away from playing shows a couple things have happened that we would like to mention to our fans.
"First off, our drummer, Connor Pritchard has left the band. We do have a replacement lined up and are very excited to be working with him. We wish Connor the best in his endeavours and look forward to working with him when the recording process begins.
"Secondly, our vocalist, Aaron Mckitrick, is moving to Kelowna come September. We have decided that Devon Meyer, our current guitarist/vocalist, is going to switch to just doing vocals and we would replace him on guitar.
"We have two new members that we would like to announce. First, to replace Devon on guitar is Cole Pruden, of Dead Reckoning. We feel that he will mesh well in writing and will be a valuable asset to developing the band further. Second, to come join us on bass is Mark Cambell, of Cast From The Stars. Mark has been a great friend to all of us since we have met him and we would love to be sharing the stage with him.
"As far as writing goes, we have nearly 6 songs finished and are working to get 10-12 ready. We start recording towards the end of September and we will be sure to give you a nice teaser to get ready for the album. It's going to be heavy."
