3 Announces Tour Dates With Coheed & Cambria

Woodstock, NY's band with a number for a name, 3, will be returning to the road this September with brothers-in-arms, Coheed & Cambria, who are fresh off their supporting run with metal legends Iron Maiden.

These dates mark 3's first tour dates since 2011 tours with Within Temptation, followed by Cynic. 3's most recent effort, The Ghost You Gave to Me (reviewed here), was released in October of 2011.

Vocalist/guitarist Joey Eppard comments on the dates: "We're all very excited about the fact that we'll be touring with Coheed & Cambria in September! Things have come full circle and we're beyond honored to be a part of that. Seeing my brother Josh back onstage with Coheed where he belongs will be a truly awesome experience. We can't wait to hang with all our brothers 'Heed, and give the fans a tour to remember. Get your tickets while you still can!"

Gartdrumm has been the drummer since 1999 which by my awesome mathematical skills adds up to be 13 years. He replaced the original drummer, (Joey's brother), so calling on my ridiculously awesome numerically superior computer-like brain makes a total of 2 drummers. Not sure about "like 4 drummers", but these guys kick a$$ and I am a big fan. This tour should be a good one and I'll be there in AC.
