"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Brave The Moment Splits With Drummer Murray Rawson

Drummer Murray Rawson of London act Brave the Moment has issued the following announcement about leaving the band:

"So, I have decided to part ways with Brave The Moment. With the recent changes and things going through the motions as they do, the way the band is progressing just isn't in total harmony with the way I want to do things. The plan to tour more heavily also makes my home life very difficult due to financial commitments and my working life. Please be in no doubt that as it was with Jake, this is a very amicable move on both parts. We'll all still hang out as we always do.

"I'd like to thank the guys for being part of the best band I've played in, and had the most fun in. Including the amount I've learned throughout. I would also like to apologise to everyone who's bummed out by my decision. I really do appreciate all the support you've showed. I will be looking to carry on playing music. LOTS!

"I hope to start a new project where everyone is as dedicated as BTM are, but with the mindset to stay away from any serious touring. I will also be offering session work, where I will write and if needed, track your drums for the price of covering my costs. Everything I do will go through my drum page linked at the bottom. I will be spending my time learning as much new music as i can and working with as many good musicians as i can to progress my playing further.

"I think that explains with enough detail my reasons for leaving the band, and I truly do hope you continue to follow both myself and the band. Please head over to my drum page and click 'Like' to stay up to date with what I do. And of course... continue to follow this band, and tell every drummer you know that they are looking!"
