Dropbunny Releases New Music Video For "There's Nothing Here And It Screams"
Dropbunny has released a new video for the track "There's Nothing Here And It Screams," which can be viewed below. The band also commented:
"The song is an attempt to recreate the music experienced independently by both bassist John Barrymore, and vocalist Xero. In Barrymore's case, he awoke completely paralyzed on three separate nights, with deafening, complex and terrifying music in his ears.
"He was trapped in that position for what seemed like hours, before the music slowly faded and he found himself able to move again. Xero's (much less frightening) experience was of finding a radio in a dream which played hypnotic music that 'kept rising out of almost white-noise, before descending again.' Finding that both of them had heard almost identical music, the band set out to make these sounds a reality.
"The filmclip features a re-imagining of a medieval southern Indian ritual which appeared in Frazer's 'The Golden Bough.' It combines extremes of hilarity and horror."
