Death Valley Driver To Play Envol Macadam Festival 2012, Recording New Album

Prince Edward Island metallers Death Valley Driver have just announced they've been added to Envol Macadam Festival in Quebec September 6-8th, 2012 and will be performing alongside such artists as Lagwagon, No Use For a Name, August Burns Red, Lights, Obey the Brave and more on Saturday September 6th.

"This is an amazing opportunity for us. This is our first show outside the Maritimes and I couldn't think of a cooler event to be part of. We are proud to be representing the Island at this great festival," commented singer Dan Hodgson.

Still riding on the success of debut album "Choke the River," the band entered the studio on July 20th to begin recording a sophomore album. Although relatively new to the Canadian metal scene, Death Valley Driver has already shared the stage with the likes of Metallica, Morbid Angel, Coheed and Cambria, 3 Inches of Blood, Cryptopsy, Protest the Hero, Misery Index, Obscura, and many others.
