Deformatory Issues Comments On Upcoming Album

Deformatory has issued the following announcement about recording new material to release in September, as well as writing for a new full-length:

"A lot of you have been messaging us, wondering what's going on with us and what do we have in store for the future. Well...

"We're currently recording a few tracks that we will be releasing for free for all of you. Expect these babies in September! We're preparing to record our a first music video (with one of the newly recorded tracks). Expect that around the same time...

"We're in full-force writing mode, working hard on ALL BRAND NEW material for our full-length concept album. We decided that we didn't want to take 'older' songs and throw them onto this record. We're writing with new energy, fresh ideas and incorporating elements that we hope will deform the barriers, so to speak. We are really excited about the new material that Charlie and Jeff are writing and we're positive you guys will be too.

"We're re-designing our website so that we can regularly keep everybody updated with the progress of the album and writing process. Stay tuned for an official launch in a month's time.

"Our exceptionally talented bass player, Sam, is starting University out of town in September. He will still remain a full-time member of the band and, since we're focusing more on writing for the new album, it won't affect our shows.

"As for shows, we have a few really awesome gigs lined up for the fall which we are excited to share with everybody. Our priority will be on the writing process but we are always down to deform the stage whenever possible!

"That's it for now. I hope that answers most of your questions. Stay posted for more in the coming weeks. 2012 will be a stellar year and Deformatory is excited that you are all a part of it."
