Sledgegrinder Calling It Quits After Splitting With Bassist And Vocalist
Florida act Sledgegrinder announced earlier this week that it had parted ways with the band's bassist and vocalist, and the group has now posted the following message online about calling it quits:
"We have decided that Sledgegrinder will be ending our journey as a band at this point. Mike Longo has also decided that he will be moving into a more serious focus with his new band GraveRot and taking care of his personal life to the fullest!
"And as for me (Brad), I will be putting my full focus into my band The Cunningham Wake and always excited to take on a good opportunity! I will be sharing the stage with our ORIGINAL drummer Danny Day in Cunningham Wake which is a great thing.
"Matt Solka will be around still as well with Ares continuing to kick ass time and time again! We love him and appreciate everything he did with this band.
"Don't forget... We love all you guyz and we appreciate all the support we were given through this great experience that we shared together. If you havent gotten a chance to check out the album we just released please do! KEEP THE METAL ALIVE! In the end, Were all still playing music because we love it and we can't wait to see what the future holds in our different directions...
"...Sledgegrinder signing off, CHEERZ!"
