"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Glitched Studio Update

Last week after bassist Elias Longoria placed the finishing touches on his tracks for the upcoming debut CD by NorCal Alternative Metal Band GlitChed, The Wonder Twins - aka guitarists Dave Thornhill and Jason Pate - went into Girth Sound Studios and laid down the guitar tracks for the first five tracks of ten total all original songs. Among those are crowd pleasers such as Drown, Irrelevant, Human Pinata and Nothing Left and well as So Far Down, Drama, Rising, Ponder, One Day and a brand new song that remains as yet untitled.

"Sometimes I like to leave a little spontenaity in the studio." Said lead vocalist Vyan. "Most of our songs are basically hyper-rehearsed, but having one song still left open to last minute ideas and inspiration can be both nerve racking and fun. Being in the moment, especially if it's the moment when a lyric finally clicks can perfectly defines the emotion your expressing and can really help to capture a vocal that is fresh and on the edge. It's very tough to capture that moment again once it's gone".

As soon as the remaining guitar tracks are completed over the next couple of weeks, recording of lead and backing vocals by Vyan, Jason and drummer/producer Mark Allen should follow in early April, pushed back from the original mid-March timeline. Release of the completed CD on the brand new independant label Resonance Records remains on target for this Summer. "I can't wait until it's all done and we can finally get the disc out there" Vyan continues " it seems like it's been forever, but I also understand that it all needs to be done right, and being hasty and haphazard isn't our style. Our fans deserve better - they deserve the best! They've been extremely patient".
